Suggested Toppings (All Optional)
Slice 1 large banana into thin, equal-sized slices and set aside. Peel 2 remaining bananas, break each banana into pieces, and place pieces in blender. Pulse bananas until smooth, pausing to scrape down sides of blender as needed.
When bananas are puréed and smooth, add packet of instant pudding mix and ⅔ cup milk to blender. Continue pulsing until ingredients are fully combined and mixture is smooth, pausing to scrape down sides of blender as needed.
Place 2 to 3 spoonfuls of pudding in bottom of serving cups or bowls. Top pudding with slices of banana, then cover banana layer with additional pudding. Repeat as needed to fill serving containers. If desired, top pudding with whipped cream, crushed vanilla wafers, and additional banana slices, and serve.
- If you prefer your banana pudding chilled, refrigerate the prepared pudding before portioning it into serving containers. Wait to slice the banana until you're ready to serve the pudding, to prevent browning.
- Make it Dairy Free: Use a plain or vanilla non-dairy milk.
